Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editor software. It is developed and published by Adobe Systems. Adobe Photoshop was developed by Thomas and John Knoll. Now days it has become the standard graphics editor to edit and create the images. Adobe Photoshop featues multiple layers in image editing and supports masks, alpha composting and several color models including RGB or CMYK. It supports variety of graphic file formats. It can also produce its own PSD and PSB file formats to use them later. It has also ability to edit or render text, make vector graphics, 3D graphics and animations.

Adobe Photoshop's has a useful feature to expand its functions by using additional Photoshop plug-ins. These plug-ins are the programs developed and distributed independently of Photoshop.
